Savannah: US Vice President Kamala Harris defended her retreat from a more liberal stance in some cases in her first major interview to a television channel as part of her campaign for the presidential election to be held in November. During this, Harris also emphasized that her “values have not changed.” Harris gave an interview with Minnesota Governor and Democratic Party candidate for the post of Vice President Tim Walz. During this, she was asked questions related to the changes in her policies in the last few years, including reversing the decision to decriminalize illegal border crossings.

Kamala Harris said during an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, “I think the most important aspect of my policy approach and decisions is that my values have not changed.” He said, “First and foremost and one of my top priorities is that we do everything possible to strengthen the middle class and help it. When I look at the aspirations, goals, ambitions of the American people, I think people are ready for a new way forward.” Harris, while reacting to Trump’s racist remarks against her in the interview, said that Trump keeps singing the same old tune. He has nothing new to say.
