These services are being provided in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Sylhet and Khulna. The Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) in Bangladesh has issued a statement giving this information.

What happened in Bangladesh?
Bangladesh witnessed massive protests by students against the controversial reservation system in government jobs. The protests began in mid-July and eventually led to the ouster of the Sheikh Hasina-led Awami League government from power on August 5. More than 600 people have been killed in the protests since mid-July. Currently, an interim government led by 84-year-old Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus is running the country.
