According to the Election Commission of India’s Voter Turnout app, the approximate polling percentage stood at 40.32 percent. The highest voter turnout, as recorded, was in West Bengal at 51.87 percent, succeeded by Madhya Pradesh (48.52 percent), Jharkhand (43.80 percent), Uttar Pradesh (39.68 percent), and Bihar (34.44 percent), respectively.

Voter Turnout in Uttar Pradesh

The Kheri Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh witnessed the highest voter turnout at 43.31 percent, followed by Dhaurahra (43.25 percent), Kannauj (43.13 percent), Sitapur (42.65 percent), Baharaich (40.68 percent), Farrukhabad (40.39 percent), Hardoi (39.45 percent), Misrikh (38.94 percent), Unnao (38.69 percent), Akbarpur (38.20 percent), Etawah (37.68 percent), Shahjahanpur (36.34 percent), and Kanpur (33.84 percent).

Voter Turnout in Madhya Pradesh

In the heartland of Hindi, Dewas recorded the highest voter turnout at 52.11 percent, followed by Khargone at 51.48 percent. Ratlam witnessed a voter turnout of 51.13 percent, Mandsour 50.39 percent, Ujjain 49.71 percent, Dhar 49.37 percent, and Khandwa 48.15 percent.

Voter Turnout in Maharashtra

As of 1 pm on Monday, Nandurbar logged the highest voting percentage at 37.33 percent, followed by Jalna at 34.42 percent. Beed recorded a voter turnout of 33.65 percent, Aurangabad 32.37 percent, Raver 32.02 percent, Jalgaon 31.70 percent, Shirdi 30.49 percent, Ahmednagar 29.45 percent, Maval 27.14 percent, Shirur 26.62 percent, and Pune 26.48 percent.

Voter Turnout in West Bengal

In West Bengal, Bardhaman Purba (55.87 percent) and Bolpur (54.81 percent) recorded the highest voter turnouts. Baharampur recorded a voter turnout of 52.27 percent, Ranaghat 52.70 percent, Krishnanagar 49.72 percent, Burdwan-Durgapur 50.30 percent, Birbhum 49.63 percent, and Asansol 49.55 percent.
