On 6 February, a Delhi Cabinet meeting was organized by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. . In this meeting, it has been decided that an incentive amount of ₹ 5000 will be provided as scholarship to the meritorious students of class 9th. This incentive amount will be provided to about 1000 meritorious students. The government has named this scheme as Delhi Chief Minister Science Talent Examination Scheme. Through this scheme, scientific temper will be promoted among the students. All those general category students who have secured 60% marks in 8th class and SC, ST, OBC and disabled category students who have secured 55% marks in 8th class will be provided the benefit of this scheme.
