There is relief news for rail passengers. Northern Railway announced the extension of summer special trains for the convenience of the public to reduce the extra rush. According to the statement of Northern Railway, to ensure smooth movement of passengers to different destinations, Indian Railways has decided to continue 13 trains with multiple trips till July 31. According to Financial Express, for the convenience of the general public, the trips of the following summer special trains have been increased for the convenience of rail passengers and to reduce the extra rush.
Northern Railway Summer Special Train List
Train number 09425/09426 running between Sabarmati and Haridwar will run additional trips from July 11, 2024 to July 31, 2024, which will be a total of six trips in each direction.
Train No. 09195/09196 running between Vadodara and Mau will run four more trips on Saturdays and Sundays respectively till July 31, 2024.
Train No. 09417/09418 connecting Ahmedabad and Danapur will run five trips on Mondays and Tuesdays respectively till the end of July.
Train No. 09557/09558 running between Bhavnagar Terminus and Delhi Cantt will be extended to four trips on Fridays and Saturdays respectively till July 31, 2024.
Train No. 09405/09406 running from Sabarmati to Patna will be extended to five trips on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively till the end of July.
Train No. 09097/09098 running between Mumbai Bandra Terminus and Sridevi Katra will run four more trips on Sundays and Tuesdays respectively till July 31, 2024. Train number 09525/09526, connecting Hapa and Naharlagun (Itanagar), will be extended for five trips on Wednesdays and Saturdays respectively till the end of July.
Train number 09183/09184, running from Mumbai Central to Banaras will be extended for five trips on Wednesdays and Fridays respectively till July 31, 2024.
Train number 09309/09310, running between Indore and Hazrat Nizamuddin will have eight additional trips on Fridays, Sundays, Mondays and Saturdays respectively till the end of July.
Train number 09075/09076, running between Mumbai Central and Kathgodam will be extended for five trips on Wednesdays and Thursdays respectively till July 31, 2024.
Train number 09189/09190, connecting Mumbai Central and Katihar will have four more trips on Saturdays and Tuesdays respectively till the end of July.
Train number 09523/09524 running from Okha to Delhi Sarai Rohilla will be extended for five trips on Tuesdays and Wednesdays respectively till July 31, 2024.
Train number 04137/04138 running between Gwalior and Barauni will be extended for eight trips on Sundays, Wednesdays, Mondays and Thursdays respectively from July 7, 2024 to August 1, 2024.
