China expressed concern over Wayanad landslides, gave a big statement about the people killed in the accident

Beijing: China has expressed deep concern over the landslide incident in Wayanad district of Kerala. Along with this, on Wednesday, expressing condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the landslide, wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Let us tell you that the death toll in the landslide incidents in Wayanad district has increased to 158 and more than 200 people are injured. Relief and rescue teams are continuously engaged on the spot. Many people are still feared missing. China has expressed its condolences to India regarding this tragic incident.

Responding to a question in a press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said, “We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish for the speedy recovery of the injured.” He said that there is no news of any Chinese citizen being injured in these incidents so far. Lin said that the Chinese Embassy in India has confirmed that there is no report of any Chinese citizen being injured or killed in this incident.

Landslide caused by heavy rains in Wayanad, Kerala has caused massive loss of life and property. So far 158 people have lost their lives. Due to this, people in the vicinity are also in panic.
