Delhi Rains: Heavy rains caused 10 flights landing at Delhi airport to be diverted, alert for passengers

An official said that at least 10 flights were diverted at the airport after 7:30 pm due to bad weather. Heavy rains lashed the national capital, leading to waterlogging and traffic jams in many areas. On social media platform X, several airlines said that flights may be affected due to bad weather.

According to the news, Vistara said that due to bad weather at Delhi airport, flight UK998 from Pune to Delhi has been diverted to Lucknow. Flights to and from Delhi may be affected due to bad weather on Wednesday evening. Air India said that passengers are advised to leave early for the airport as there may be delays in movement due to slow traffic and waterlogging.

Domestic budget airline SpiceJet said that due to bad weather (heavy rain) in Delhi, all departures/arrivals and their flights may be affected.
