Air India on Thursday canceled its flight from the national capital to Tel Aviv, citing operational reasons. The flight has been canceled in the backdrop of increasing tension in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. Air India operates four flights from Delhi to Tel Aviv every week. In an update on its website, Air India said it has cancelled its flight AI139 from Delhi to Tel Aviv and flight AI140 from Tel Aviv to Delhi on August 1 due to operational reasons. “Passengers with confirmed bookings for travel on both these flights will be given a one-time waiver on rescheduling and cancellation charges. We apologize for the inconvenience,” the statement said.
