Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released recruitment for more than 2 thousand posts of Assistant Professors for various subjects. What is the selection process, exam pattern
Candidates can understand the selection process and exam pattern through the steps given below.
The selection process includes screening test, subject knowledge test, interview/ oral test.
The screening test consists of 100 MCQs and the time duration is 2 hours.
The medium of the exam varies according to the subject, including bilingual options for many subjects.
The total marks are 100 and all questions will be of equal marks.
Each question will have five options (A, B, C, D and E).
One-fourth mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The duration of the subject knowledge test is 3 hours and the total marks are 150.
The interview will have a weightage of 12.5%.
The first merit list will be prepared by adding the marks of subject knowledge test and interview/ oral test.
When will the applications start
The application process for this recruitment will start from 7 August 2024 i.e. candidates will be able to apply for this recruitment from this date. At the same time, the last date for the candidates to apply for this recruitment is 27 August 2024, interested and eligible candidates should apply by this date.
