America has tightened its belt for economic reform in Ukraine, this Indian-American has got a big responsibility

Washington: Indian-American Richard Verma has been given the additional responsibility of helping in the reconstruction of the war-torn country Ukraine. Verma is the Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Affairs of America. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has named him as the US Special Representative for the Economic Reform of Ukraine in addition to his current post. Verma has also been a former US Ambassador to India. Foreign Ministry Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel told reporters in his daily press conference, “Deputy Secretary of State for Resources and Management Affairs Richard Verma will carry forward the work that Special Envoy Penny Pritzker has started regarding reconstruction and economic issues related to our Ukrainian partners.” America provided military help
Meanwhile, let us also tell you here that to help Ukraine in the war against Russia, the US has decided to send weapons worth an additional US $ 125 million to it. Recently, the White House said that the additional military aid being sent to Ukraine includes much-needed air defense systems, anti-tank weapons and radars that help detect and destroy enemy shells.

How much help has America provided?

During this time, National Security Spokesperson John Kirby had said that Ukraine is using the weapons provided by the US to retaliate against Russia in accordance with the policies of the Biden administration. The Biden administration has allowed Ukraine to use these weapons in retaliation against Russia in the border areas, but it cannot target targets located in the interior of the country with these weapons. The US has provided a total of US$55.6 billion in aid to Kiev since February 2022.
