The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will announce the NEET UG Counseling 2024 Round 1 seat allotment today for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS and allied courses. This counseling is conducted to fill 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The choice filling and locking facility was extended twice and closed on August 22, two days after the scheduled date.
The MCC will inform the students participating in the first phase about the seats allotted under the NEET UG Counseling 2024 Round 1 results. After this, the students will have to report to the college related to the allotted seat from August 24 to 29 and take joining. After this, the list of students joined by the respective institutions will have to be submitted to MCC from 30 to 31 August.
How to know in which college the allotted seat is found
NEET students who have done registration, fee payment, choice filling and locking for the first round of NEET UG 2024 online counseling from August 14 to 20, should visit the official website of MCC mcc.nic.in for information about their allotted seat. After this, students go to UG Medical section, then log in with the active link in Candidate Activity Board. After this you will see the allotted seat.
When will registration for Round 2 start
After the first round is completed, MCC will start registration for the second phase. Registration for this round 2 will be from 5 to 10 September. Meanwhile, students will have to do choice filling and locking for the seats of choice between 6 to 10 September. Then the results of Round 2 will be released on September 13 and students have to report and join the allotted college by September 20.
