Today in Vihaan Girls Residential School, Kanpur, a one-day self-defense training camp was organized for the girl students, to protect them from the evils growing in the society and the increasing atrocities on girls. Mr. Vinay Gopal Shrivastav gave self-defense training through “Physical Education and Women Self Defense of Uttar Pradesh”. Program coordinator Mrs. Ritu ji and chief guest Mrs. Deepti Tiwari, Councilor, Municipal Corporation of Kanpur, told their experiences to the girl students that “how to save themselves and how to save others”. School superintendent Pragati Singh and staff like Ranu, Archana, Pratibha, Shubhanjali, Rinkal, Sandhya, Ashish etc. were present in the program.
