Rain havoc in Gujarat, all primary schools will remain closed tomorrow; order issued

Rain has created havoc in many parts of the country, due to which the life of the common people there has become disrupted. Similarly, people are facing a lot of problems due to heavy rains at many places in Gujarat. Meanwhile, State Education Minister Praful Pansheria has ordered the closure of schools for tomorrow.

These days there is a havoc of rain in Gujarat. IMD has issued a warning saying that the state will receive heavy to very heavy rains in the next 2-3 days. Let us tell you that amid heavy rains for the last 48 hours, some parts of Gujarat have also been flooded, due to which hundreds of residents have had to be displaced to safer places.

This district is on red alert

Especially Navsari has been hit by severe floods, due to which the IMD has issued a red alert for the district on August 26. A red alert for heavy rains has been issued in the entire state except for just 5 districts in Gujarat. At the same time, an orange alert has also been issued for the remaining five states.

According to the data released by the State Emergency Operations Center i.e. SEOC, Khergam taluka of Navsari district recorded the highest rainfall with 356 mm in the last 24 hours, which ended at 6 am on Monday. Other districts with more than 100 mm rainfall include Narmada, Saurashtra, Rajkot, Tapi, Mahisagar, Morbi, Dahod and Vadodara. The Chief Secretary of Gujarat has advised the administration to be vigilant in areas where there is a possibility of more crowd due to the upcoming festivals during the month of Shravan.
