Heart attack on court while playing badminton
On the death of the young player, the team of doctors said that Zhang had a heart attack on the court while playing badminton. Due to this, he was having severe pain in his chest. He fell there due to severe chest pain. When he was brought to the hospital, his pulse was not working. He was treated for about three hours before being taken to another hospital. He was declared dead at 11:20 pm on Monday.

China Badminton Association said, cause of death not known
The China Badminton Association has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the young player. The association said that Zhang Zhijie loved badminton. He was an excellent player of the national youth badminton team. It also said that at present the local hospital has not ascertained the cause of death.

Zhang Zhijie won many titles
Let us tell you that the young player originally belonged to Jiaxing in the Chinese province of Zhejiang. He joined the national junior team in 2023 and won several championships, including the team and men’s titles in Group B of the China Badminton Junior Championships in 2023 and 2024.
