6 foreigners died in Hyatt Hotel in Bangkok, sensation due to suspicion of poisoning

Bangkok: The incident of 6 foreigners being found dead in Hyatt Hotel in Thailand has created a stir. It is suspected that all of them were killed by poisoning. According to the information, 6 Vietnamese and American guests were found dead in Bangkok on Tuesday. There is a suspicion of poisoning all of them. Police and officials said that the bodies of six people were recovered from the luxury Hyatt Hotel in Bangkok city and it is primarily suspected that they died due to poisoning.

Bangkok Police Chief Lieutenant General Thiti Sangsawang identified the dead as two Vietnamese Americans and four Vietnamese citizens. He said that there were three men and three women among them. An officer of Lumpini Police Station said on the condition of anonymity that he is not authorized to share information. But investigators said that foam was coming out of the mouths of the deceased. The victims had booked several rooms in the Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel under seven names and some were staying on a different floor from the room where they were found dead. Police are still searching for the seventh person involved in the booking, Thiti said at a press conference at the hotel.

A female hotel employee first spotted the bodies

Thiti said there were no signs of a struggle. A female hotel maid was the first to spot their bodies. The occupants of the room where the bodies were found had already checked out on Tuesday and their luggage had already been packed. Thiti said food was ordered earlier from room service, which was not eaten, but drinks were consumed. He did not confirm the cause of death, but said the deaths appeared to have occurred about 24 hours before police arrived at the scene on Tuesday evening after being called by hotel staff.
