According to the information revealed by Bangladesh media, a senior military officer has been dismissed in Bangladesh. Here 7 senior military officers have been transferred and Major General Ziaul Ahsan has been dismissed from service.

Lieutenant General Mohammad Saifullah Alam has been transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Lieutenant General Mohammad Mujibur Rahman has been transferred as General Officer Commanding, Army Training and Doctrine Command. Lieutenant General Ahmed Tabrez Shams Chowdhury has been appointed Quarter Master General.

Lieutenant General Mizanur Rahman Shamim has become the Chief of General Staff. Lieutenant General Mohammad Shahinul Haque has been appointed as the Commandant of the NDC and Major General A.S.N. Rizwanur Rahman has been appointed as the Director General of the NTMC.

President Mohammad Shahabuddin dissolved the Parliament

Earlier, news had come out that President Mohammad Shahabuddin has dissolved the Parliament. Also, the former Prime Minister of the country, Khaleda Zia, has also been released. On Tuesday, the students protesting in Bangladesh had given an ultimatum to dissolve the Parliament by 3 pm.
