Colombo: National Security Advisor level talks of 4 countries are going to be held in Sri Lanka. These include India, Sri Lanka along with Maldives and Mauritius. India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has reached Sri Lanka today to participate in the Colombo Security Conference. During this, there is going to be a big discussion among the NSAs of the four countries on matters of internal and external security. Officials said that the conference will be held on Friday.
He said that India’s National Security Advisor will also meet Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe. The conference brings together the National Security Advisors and Deputy National Security Advisors of India, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Mauritius along with its Colombo Secretariat. Bangladesh and Seychelles have observer status in the conference. Issues related to maritime security, counter-terrorism and cyber security are discussed in this conference and India conveys its strategic concerns in the Indian Ocean.
