In Asia, the national capital Delhi is second after Mumbai. However, in the global ranking, Mumbai has climbed six places, while Delhi has moved up two places. Talking about the global level, Hong Kong has again topped the list of the most expensive city to live in. Singapore is on second and Zurich (Switzerland) is on third. In the latest survey, Mumbai has climbed 11 places to reach 136th position globally, while New Delhi’s rank has increased by four places to 164. Chennai (in Tamil Nadu) has gained five places in the ranking. There has been a decline. Now it is at 189th position. With a decline of six places, Bengaluru of Karnataka is currently at 195th position in the list. There is no change in the position of Hyderabad. Its rank in the list is 202. With a jump of four places, Kolkata city of West Bengal is ranked 207 in the list.
