Imran’s claims rejected

According to the news, the petition has also requested to summon the list of those who want to meet Imran, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, who is lodged in Rawalpindi jail. It has also requested to seek a report on the duration of the meeting. The petition was filed after Imran’s interview to British newspaper ‘The Sunday Times’ in which he claimed that he was imprisoned in a death cell where “terrorists” are kept to ensure that “they are not able to contact anyone.” However, the federal cabinet rejected Imran’s claims on Monday. It said that the prison where the PTI chief is kept is similar to the ‘presidential suite’, which is “far better than a middle-class person’s home.”
