ISI’s grip on Imran Khan tightens, Pakistani intelligence agency arrests 4 party members

Lahore: Pakistani intelligence agency ISI has started tightening its grip on Imran Khan. In the latest action on the party of jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, four senior members of his media team were allegedly detained by intelligence agencies on Saturday. This has created a stir in Imran Khan’s camp. After the arrest of the four members, Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party said in a statement, “International Media Coordinator Ahmed Janjua and three other members of the social media team were ‘abducted’ this morning.”

In the CCTV footage released by the party, Janjua can be seen being detained by people in plain clothes in Islamabad at around 4 am. According to the party, serious action has been taken on the PTI’s social media team in the last two weeks. The party demanded, “Any attempt to reduce the flow of information to the media is condemnable. The government should ensure their safety and release them as soon as possible.
