The two leaders shared views on various regional and global issues, including the situation in Ukraine. PM Modi reiterated India’s full support for the early return of peace and stability. PM Modi informed that with Joe Biden he also discussed the situation in Bangladesh and emphasized the need to ensure early restoration of normalcy and the safety of minorities, especially Hindus, in Bangladesh.

Discussion on India-US partnership
The PM appreciated President Biden’s commitment to the India-US partnership. The two leaders said that the India-US partnership aims to benefit the people of both countries as well as all of humanity. PM Modi briefed President Joe Biden on his recent visit to Ukraine. He reiterated India’s consistent position in favor of dialogue and diplomacy. The two leaders reiterated their commitment to further strengthen multilateral cooperation, including the Quad.
