New Delhi: Amid the ongoing border tension with India, China has sent cannons and guns to Tibet. According to sources, “The cannons and guns were deployed at an altitude of 4,600 meters in Tibet only in the last week of July.”
It has also been learned that China has deployed the 150th Light Combined Arms Brigade of the 77th Combat Command in the Tibet Military District. The Combined Arms Brigade is an adaptation of the American Brigade Combat Team which helps various military forces to work together. Meanwhile, China has increased its deployment in the Tibet region manifold and the Combined Arms Brigade has been deployed near the Line of Actual Control with India.
China has deployed these cannons, guns and other weapons in three sectors of the Line of Actual Control – western (Ladakh), middle (Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh) and eastern (Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh). China has also deployed its soldiers above the Kalapani valley at the trijunction of India, China and Nepal at Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand.
Even after several rounds of talks between the Indian and Chinese armies, the tension between the two countries did not subside and despite promising, the Chinese army did not retreat from the border. Apart from this, China has also built permanent structures in the border areas, which is against the promise made by China.
Let us tell you that on June 15, 20 Indian soldiers were killed in a clash between the Indian and Chinese army soldiers. Although Chinese soldiers were also casualties in this clash, the figures of casualties were not released by the Chinese government. At the same time, Indian Army sources said that more than 40 Chinese soldiers were killed in this clash.
