Pakistan: Terrorists kill 40 people, Punjabis killed selectively

Terrorists have created a lot of chaos in Pakistan. Armed terrorists have killed at least 40 people in separate attacks in the troubled Balochistan province on Monday. The shocking thing is that the gunmen killed Punjabi passengers after getting them off the buses and checking their identity cards. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief over this incident and has talked about giving severe punishment to the terrorists responsible for this incident.

The first incident of terror has taken place in Musakhel district of Balochistan. Here about 10 armed attackers shot dead at least 23 people of Punjab province. According to the information, the terrorists asked the passengers to get off the buses and shot them dead after checking their national identity cards. Most of the dead are from southern Punjab and some from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

11 killed in Kalat and 6 in Bolan
The second attack took place in Kalat district of Balochistan where gunmen killed at least 11 people including four police officers. Kalat is located about 150 km south of Balochistan’s capital Quetta and this area is dominated by Baloch tribes. At the same time, the third attack took place in Bolan, Pakistan where 6 people were shot dead.

Why were Punjabis targeted?
In fact, Baloch separatists regularly target people from Punjab province. They allege that Punjabis dominate the armed forces fighting terrorists in the province. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned this incident and said that the terrorists responsible for this incident will be punished severely. Any kind of terrorism is not acceptable in the country.
