Moscow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Austria on Tuesday after completing his two-day visit to Russia. During the visit to Russia, the two countries discussed ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation in areas such as energy, trade, manufacturing and fertilizers. Prime Minister Modi started his two-day visit to Russia on Monday. This was his first visit to Russia since Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
List of PM Modi’s program in Austria
PM Modi will be welcomed during 10 am to 10.15 am. After this, PM Modi will sign the guestbook. PM Modi will hold delegation-level talks from 10.15 to 11 am. PM Modi will give a press statement at 11-11.20 am. PM Modi will attend the Austria-India CEO meeting between 11.30 and 12.15.
After this, PM Modi will have lunch with the Chancellor of Austria during 12.30-1.50 pm. During the visit from 2 pm to 2.30 pm, PM Modi will hold talks with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen. After this, meetings with Austrian personalities will be held from 3.40 to 4.30 pm. There will be a press conference at 5 pm. There is a community program during 7.00-7.45 pm. After this, PM Modi will leave for his home country at 8.15 pm.
Russian President Putin hosted dinner for PM Modi
The Russian President organized a private dinner at his residence in honor of Modi on Monday night. Modi was awarded Russia’s highest civilian honor ‘Order of St. Andrew the Apostle’ on Tuesday. When Modi reaches Vienna, it will be the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Austria in more than 40 years. Earlier in 1983, then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had visited this country.
