Gurugram. A plan is being prepared to make Millennium City the most beautiful city of Asia. To implement this step effectively, a special cleanliness campaign is being run in the city. Complete the cleaning work along with ensuring presence of ward wise employees at designated places at 7 am and 2 pm. The government is paying full attention towards making the Millennium City clean. Steps are being taken to improve the cleanliness system.
Haryana Chief Secretary T.V.S.N. reached the Municipal Corporation office for a review meeting on Monday. Prasad said. During this, necessary directions were given to the Municipal Corporation officials regarding the preparations and progress report of the cleanliness campaign. The Principal Secretary said that an action committee has been formed under the leadership of Gurugram Divisional Commissioner to continuously monitor the cleanliness system. Which will present the daily updated report before them. The cleanliness campaign will be reviewed every week. He said that regular cleanliness should be ensured in all the wards. For this, HCS level officers have been appointed nodal officers at the ward level. To maintain the system, work is being done under the Disaster Management Act. He has appealed to the general public to contribute in the cleanliness campaign being run through the Municipal Corporation. He said that it has come to his notice that most of the waste is from construction and demolition activities and due to its not being executed properly, it causes problems to the general public, hence a system is being implemented for the said execution process to comply with it. Let the common people become allies.
In the meeting, Gurugram Divisional Commissioner RC Bidhan, Director of Urban Local Bodies Department Dr. Yashpal, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Narhari Singh Bangar, DCP Deepak Gehlawat, Additional Commissioner Dr. Balpreet Singh, ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena, Urban Local Bodies Department were present.
