SMS on this number
You can also know the balance of your EPF account and the latest contribution to your account by sending an SMS to 7738299899. For this, you have to type AN EPFOHO ENG from the registered number and send the message. ENG here represents English. If you want to know in another language, then write the first three letters of that language.
Make a missed call
If your mobile number is registered with UAN, you can get information by giving a missed call to 9966044425 from your registered mobile number. After making a missed call on this number, you will get some messages from EPFO, in which you will see the balance of your PF accounts.
Check with Umang app
You can also check your PF balance from Umang app. The government had released the Umang app to provide citizens access to various government services at one place. Using the Umang app, you can submit claims, view your EPF passbook and track your claims. For this, you have to enter your phone number in the app and do a one-time registration.
EPFO Portal
Go to the EPFO website and click on the Employees section and then click on Member Passbook. You can access the PF passbook by entering your UAN and password. It will show the opening and closing balance as well as the contribution of the employee and employer. The total of any PF transfer and the amount of PF interest accumulated will also be visible. EPF balance can also be seen in the passbook.
