Maruti Suzuki will recall 2,555 cars of this model, will fix this defect

The country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India will recall 2,555 Alto K10 vehicles for a suspected defect in the steering gear box assembly. Maruti said in an exchange filing that in rare cases this defect may affect the operating ability of the car. According to the news, the country’s largest car manufacturer said that the affected car owners will be contacted by Maruti Suzuki authorized dealer workshops for inspection and replacement of the part, which will be free. In March, Maruti Suzuki announced the recall of 11,851 units of Baleno and 4,190 units of WagonR manufactured between July 30, 2019 and November 1, 2019. Maruti Suzuki then said that a potential problem was identified in a component of the fuel pump motor, which in rare cases could result in engine shutdown or engine starting problems.
