First step in electric bike segment
According to the news, this launch is an important milestone as it will be Ola’s first step into the electric bike segment. The new motorcycle will join the company’s existing lineup of electric two-wheelers, which include S1X, S1 Air and S1 Pro, which have already made their place in the Indian market.

Will compete with these bikes
However, it is not yet officially clear whether this new e-bike will be available for purchase this year or not. Ola’s first electric bike can compete with entry-level models like the Torque Kratos R and Revolt RV400. It is believed that the company is bringing this product targeting the high-performance segment, which can compete directly with models like the Ultraviolet F77 Mach 2 and Matter Era.

The teaser image posted on the social media platform X hints at a dual-pod LED headlamp at the front, which resembles the design of Ola’s S1 electric scooter series. The headlamp includes a horizontal LED strip at the top and two vertical strips on the sides. It is speculated that they will serve as turn indicators. Indicates that the bike will likely be equipped with a conventional right-side-up telescopic fork suspension, a chain final drive and a large battery housed within a tubular frame.
