West Central Railway is doing non-interlocking work to increase rail connectivity. Due to this, many trains have also had to be cancelled. According to West Central Railway, non-interlocking work is being done to connect the third line at Damoh railway station falling between Murwara-Bina railway section in Katni of Jabalpur division. According to the news of ABPLive, due to this many trains going from Bhopal had to be cancelled. Also, the route of many trains has also been changed. Railways has cancelled more than 50 trains.

Change in the time-table of this train
The time of Jabalpur to Shri Mata Vaishnav Devi Katra Express, a special train running from Jabalpur station, has been revised. Apart from the revision, the rest of the time-table will remain the same as before. Train number 01707 Jabalpur to Shri Mata Vaishnav Devi Katra Special train’s earlier departure from Jabalpur station at 06:00 am has now been revised to 05:25 am, earlier arrival time at Katni Mudwara at 07:20 am now arrival time 06:45 am, earlier arrival time at Damoh at 08:45 am now arrival time 08:10 am, earlier arrival time at Sagar at 09:45 am now arrival time 09:15 am. There is no change in the time-table from Aagasod to Shri Mata Vaishnav Devi Katra, the journey will remain the same. This amendment will be applicable from 2 September 2024.
