Stock Market: Market fell in early trade, auto shares fell, rise seen here

Indian stock market opened flat on Wednesday and showed decline in early trade. Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex opened with a marginal gain of 7 points at 81,928 today. In early trade, it was seen trading at 81,752 with a decline of 0.20 percent or 163 points. In early trade, out of 30 Sensex stocks, 19 stocks were seen trading in the red and 11 stocks in the green. At the same time, National Stock Exchange index Nifty was seen trading at 25,012 today with a decline of 0.11 percent or 28 points. In early trade, out of 50 stocks of Nifty pack, 19 stocks were in the green and 31 stocks were in the red.

Apart from this, Tata Motors fell by 4.28%, ONGC by 2.05%, Hindalco by 0.95%, Hero Motocorp by 0.94% and HDFC Life by 0.83%.

Nifty Auto saw the highest decline

Talking about sectoral indices, the highest decline was recorded in Nifty Auto by 0.78%. Apart from this, Nifty Bank fell by 0.33 percent, Nifty Financial Services by 0.28 percent, Nifty IT by 0.12 percent, Nifty Media by 0.29 percent, Nifty Metal by 0.49 percent, Nifty Private Bank by 0.41 percent, Nifty Realty by 0.61 percent, Nifty Consumer Durables by 0.08 percent and Nifty Oil and Gas by 0.34 percent. Apart from this, Nifty Midsmall Healthcare rose by 0.64 percent, Nifty Healthcare Index by 0.46 percent, Nifty PSU Bank by 0.06 percent, Nifty Pharma by 0.51 percent and Nifty FMCG by 0.48 percent.
