In his viral interview of Metro Saga, Rishabh Shetty expressed his disappointment over the portrayal of India by Bollywood in international film events. Speaking in Kannada, the actor says- “Indian films, especially Bollywood, show India in a bad light. These art films are invited to global events and given the red carpet. My nation, my state, my language-my pride. Why not take it in a positive way globally and that’s what I try to do.”

He requested the Bollywood audience to support his overrated film, which is full of problematic content.’ Another wrote – ‘Success is momentary, but pinching women’s waist and attacking Bollywood is permanent.’ After this video of Rishabh Shetty surfaced, users have started proving that Bollywood is the only Indian film industry that is recognized internationally and has helped other Indian films gain global popularity.
