These foods reduce the risk of cancer

Regularly eating cruciferous vegetables may reduce the risk of cancers such as colorectal, lung and breast cancer.
Berries: Berries, including blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries, are rich in antioxidants, vitamin C and ellagic acid. These compounds help protect cells from free radical damage, which can lead to cancer. Berries are also high in fiber, which may reduce the risk of cancer.
Green leafy vegetables: Spinach and other leafy vegetables are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. These green vegetables contain carotenoids including lutein and zeaxanthin that protect against lung cancer.
