Dr Shrey says that athletes are given such training so that they can maintain their weight as soon as possible. The 4.5 kg weight that Aman Sehrawat has lost in 10 hours has not resulted in fat loss but only water weight of the body has been reduced. That is, weight is reduced with this technique but the weight of water present in the body is reduced, it does not reduce fat. This technique is usually adopted by athletes. Especially, players playing in weight category use it. Actually, before the competition, if the weight of the player is not according to the guidelines of the game, then he can be disqualified, so weight is reduced in this way.

These exercises are included in the routine:
In this process, exercises like sauna sessions or high-intensity exercises are usually done. Along with this, such a dress is worn which causes a lot of sweat (Sweat Suits). Also, a low sodium diet has to be followed to help remove excess water from the body. Along with this, athletes avoid foods like carbohydrates because they help retain water in the body.

It has a bad effect on health:
This method may be very effective in reducing weight in a short time, but do not try it even by mistake. Athletes follow this diet under the supervision of an expert, but they too fall prey to dehydration, electrolyte imbalance and weakness. In such a situation, they are provided immediate medical attention. In such a situation, experts usually advise against such rapid weight loss due to the health consequences. Instead, weight should be reduced slowly through a balanced diet and regular exercise.
