There is good news for the youth preparing for government jobs. The government department of Bihar has started a scheme, under which the students of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC-ST) category of the state will get incentive money as a reward for passing the competitive examination of a dozen services including bank, railway.
The government made a new provision
The SC-ST Welfare Department has made a new provision in this regard under the Chief Minister Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Civil Service Incentive Scheme. Earlier, students of SC-ST category are given incentive money only under the Civil Service (Prelims) Examination of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). But now with the new provision, the enthusiasm of achieving success in these government job examinations will double among the students of SC-ST category.
How much will be given in which exam?
According to the department, students of SC-ST category get different amounts as incentives on passing more than a dozen exams. Among these, Rs 75,000 will be given on passing UPSC’s Indian Engineering Service, Indian Economic Service, Indian Statistical Service, Joint Geologist etc. Apart from this, Rs 50,000 is given on passing Combined Defense Service (CDS), DSP in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), Rs 50,000 on passing the first attempt (written exam) of National Defense Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy, Rs 50,000 on passing the prelims exam of Bihar Judicial Service and Rs 50,000 on passing the Civil Service Combined Competitive (Prelims) exam of other states.
How much do people in banking get?
Rs 30,000 will be given on passing the Grade-B prelims exam of Reserve Bank, PO exam in State Bank and other vocational banks, Assistant Administrative Officer prelims exam in LIC, Rs 30,000 on passing the CGL prelims exam of Staff Selection Commission and Rs 30,000 on passing the technical and graduate level prelims exam of Railway Recruitment Board.
