Police constable recruitment exam is being conducted in Uttar Pradesh. Today’s exam on the third day of the constable recruitment exam has also been completed in entire UP. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board i.e. UPPRPB has released the figures of the number of candidates and their attendance on the day of the exam. UPPRPB has shared the figures on social media platform X from its official handle. The figure of absence of candidates in the released figures is very shocking.
What do the figures say?
According to the data shared by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), the number of candidates in the first and second shifts in the third day’s exam is 481836 and 481835 respectively, a total of 963671. Apart from this, a total of 820150 admit cards were downloaded. At the same time, 337647 and 341120 candidates appeared in the exam in the first and second shifts respectively. If we talk in percentage, then 70.08 percent appeared in the first shift and 70.80 percent appeared in the second shift. If we talk about the total, then a total of 6,78,767 candidates appeared in the exam on the second day.

According to the data released, out of a total of 9,63,671 candidates, only 6,78,767 candidates appeared in the third day’s exam. On the other hand, if we talk about absenteeism, more than 2.50 lakh candidates were absent in the exam.
Let us inform you that strict and solid arrangements have been made for the constable recruitment exam. The police have arrested a total of 20 people so far. Candidates are being allowed entry only after strict checking outside the exam center. Drones are also being monitored. Let us tell you that this examination will be conducted in five days i.e. 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August.
