IGNOU Admission 2024: There is a good news for the candidates wishing to take admission in IGNOU. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) today extended the last date for submission of applications (except certificate and semester based programs) till September 10. Interested students can apply for these programs on the official IGNOU website – ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Let us inform that for online courses, candidates have to visit another official website – ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
While filling the IGNOU application form 2024, candidates have to enter their name and other details as given in the educational documents. Applicants will be able to log in to the IGNOU admission portal only using their registered email address. Therefore, the university has instructed the candidates to use their own active email address.

Scanned passport size photo – less than 200 KB
Scanned signature (less than 100 KB) – less than 200 KB
Scanned documents of required educational qualification – less than 200 KB
Scanned copy of experience certificate – less than 200 KB
Scanned copy of category certificate, if SC, ST or OBC – less than 200 KB

On the homepage, find the link ‘Click here for new registration’.
Start by choosing a username. It should be between 8 to 16 characters.
Now, enter your full name, email address as given in the educational documents.
Create an alphanumeric password with a wordcount between 8 to 16 characters.
Enter your 10 digit mobile number and captcha verification code displayed on the screen.
Choose the course you are applying for and pay the fee.
Review all the details entered in the application form and download the confirmation page.
