According to the academic calendar, school level science exhibition will be held till 15 October 2024. District level exhibition will be held till 31 October, Mandal level exhibition will be held on 10 November and State level exhibition will be held from 11 November to 30 November.
Science exhibition will be held between these dates. State Project Director Kanchan Verma has issued necessary guidelines for the science exhibition. There will be two categories in the science exhibition, class 9 and 10 in the junior category and class 11 and 12 in the senior category.
Students get a platform for their natural curiosity, creativity, innovation and experimentation in science, mathematics and technology. Also, it develops scientific consciousness in them. Six main topics have been fixed for the science exhibition.
It includes environment, biodiversity, life sciences in human welfare, alternative energy, information communication and transport technology, mathematics-physics science and sports. The models in the exhibition can be of two types – static or functional.
Students can exhibit according to their thinking. The models selected from the school level will reach the district level exhibition. They will get opportunities from the district to the division and from the division to the state level exhibition. Prizes will also be given for the best models. DIOS JS Shakya said that instructions have also been given to prepare for this in schools from the regular session starting from July. This will enhance the talent of the children.
