JNVST 2024: If you want to get your child admitted in class 6 of Navodaya Vidyalaya, then this news is of your use. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has today extended the last date to apply for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST Class 6 2024) for class 6. According to a notice appearing on the official website, now the application forms for the class can be submitted till September 23, 2024. Earlier, the last date to apply was September 16. Remember that parents can submit the form for their children on navodaya.gov.in.

Aadhar card/residence certificate
Certificate verified by the headmaster of the current school (the school where the candidate has studied up to class 5) containing the details of the candidate (in the prescribed format).
Age limit
Candidates born not before 1 May 2013 and not after 31 July 2015 can apply for JNV Class 6 entrance test this year. The candidate must apply for JNV located in the same district where he has studied up to class 5.

Remember that the JNVST 2024 exam will be conducted in two phases –
The first on January 18 and the second on April 12, 2025.
The January 18 exam will be conducted for candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh (except Dibang Valley and Tawang districts), Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (except Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmaur, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti and Shimla districts), Jammu & Kashmir (only for Jammu-I, Jammu-II and Samba), Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal (except Darjeeling), Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Lakshadweep and Puducherry.
On April 12, this exam will be held in Jammu and Kashmir (except Jammu-I, Jammu-II and Samba), Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Dibang Valley and Tawang districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmaur, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti and Shimla districts of Himachal Pradesh, Darjeeling district of West Bengal and Leh and Kargil districts of Union Territory Ladakh.
