UP Police Constable exam started today. Candidates are giving the exam at around 1,174 centers in the first shift today. Meanwhile, news is coming that a female constable and her colleague were trying to hack the exam, UP Police showed promptness and arrested female constable Pinky Sonkar from the spot. Along with this, her associate Devpratap has also been caught.
5 Admit Cards recovered
Female constable Pinky Sonkar and her associate Devpratap Singh had extorted money from many people by promising to help them pass the police exam. UP Police has recovered 5 admit cards from the mobile of the female constable. Accused Devpratap is a resident of Delhi, while Pinky Sonkar is a resident of Ward No. 2 of Bansgaon police station. At present, Pinky Sonkar is posted in Shravasti district.
Detained last night
Bansgaon police and STF had detained the suspects last night itself, during interrogation the accused woman constable and her associate confessed to extortion after which Bansgaon police registered a case and started investigation.
