The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has today released the admit card for the written examination of National Defense Academy (NDA) 02/2024. Candidates who are going to appear in this exam can download it by visiting the official website upsconline.nic.in.

This exam gives an opportunity to the candidates who want to join the Indian Armed Forces. A total of 404 vacancies are available for this recruitment, for which applications were accepted from 15 May to 4 June 2024.

Selection Process

Selections in UPSC NDA will be conducted in several stages.

Written Exam: This stage consists of two papers – Math (300 marks) and General Ability Test (600 marks, English and General Knowledge). The total duration of the written exam is 5 hours.

Service Selection Board (SSB): Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for SSB interview, which is also of 900 marks.

Document Verification: After SSB, the selected candidates will have to undergo document verification.

Medical Test: In the final stage, candidates undergo a thorough medical examination to ensure that they meet the required physical standards.

Exam Pattern

Paper I: Math: 300 marks, 2.5 hours

Paper II: General Ability Test: 600 marks (English: 200, General Knowledge: 400), 2.5 hours

Total: 900 marks, 5 hours

Candidates are advised to download their admit cards immediately and review the exam instructions carefully. Admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the exam centre.
