Drishti IAS owner Vikas Divyakirti, who is surrounded by questions regarding the Delhi coaching accident, has made two big announcements regarding the dead students of Old Rajendra Nagar. On one hand, Vikas Divyakirti has announced financial help to the families of the students who died in the coaching center accident, and on the other hand, he has also announced free classes to other students of the coaching institute involved in the accident. Earlier, Vikas Divyakirti had apologized to the students for responding late.
Financial help to these four families
Through the press release of Drishti IAS, Vikas Divyakirti said that in the last few days, 4 promising students died untimely in two accidents that took place in Old Rajendra Nagar. One student Nilesh Rai died due to electric shock on the flooded road, while three students Shreya Yadav, Tanya Soni and Nivin Dalvin became victims of waterlogging in the basement of a coaching institute. This time is very sad for the families of the four students. We are with them in this difficult time.
Help of ₹ 10 lakh each
Vikas Divyakirti said that we know that no amount can erase the pain of not having children, yet as an attempt to express our partnership in this hour of grief, Drishti IAS has decided to provide financial assistance of ₹ 10 lakh each to the four families. Further said that even after this, if we can help these families in any other way, we will do it.
Free classes for students
Apart from this, Divyakirti said that we will also be ready to help all the current students of coaching Rau’s IAS. We will provide them free academic help and classes for the preparation of general studies, test series and optional subjects.
