Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently announced the dates of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 Tier 1 exam. Candidates who want to appear in this recruitment exam can check the date of SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2024 on the official website, whose link is ssc.gov.in. Its application process has been completed, but if anyone wants to make any correction in their application, then they can correct it now through the correction window, because the correction window will be open on 10th and 11th August.
When will the exam be held?
According to the notice, SSC CGL exam will be conducted from 9th September to 26th September. SSC CGL 2024 will be conducted in two levels. Let us tell you that Tier 1 is scheduled in September, while Tier 2 will be in December. SSC CGL Recruitment aims to fill around 17,727 vacancies in various departments. Applications for this recruitment were made from 24 June to 27 July. The process included filling the details of the candidate, uploading the required documents and paying the application fee. Applicants can choose to pay the fee online or offline as per their convenience.
What did the notice say?
The official notice reads, “The Commission has decided to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024 (Tier-I) from 09-September-2024 to 26-September-2024. 2. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the Commission’s website at regular intervals for further updates.”
The shortlisted candidates will be appointed to Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in various ministries, departments and organizations of the Government of India as well as constitutional, statutory bodies and tribunals. The allotment will be based on the provisions in the examination notice and will take into account both the merit and the preferences of the candidates for specific posts.
