The Android 15 Beta 4.2 update released in August will be available till October. After this, the stable version of Android 15 will be released, which makes it clear that users will start getting the Android 15 update from October this year. However, it will depend on the OEM when they will release this update for their smartphones.
The update will be available in these smartphones first
The Android 15 update will be released first for Google Pixel smartphones in October. Apart from the Pixel 9 series launched this year, the latest Android 15 update will also be released simultaneously for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 7 series. Apart from this, Android 15 update can be released for premium devices of Samsung, Xiaomi, Realme, OnePlus, Redmi, POCO, Oppo, Vivo, iQOO, Motorola, HMD Global.
In Android 15, users can get many special features as compared to the previous operating system, which includes privacy, security and user experience. Users will get Passkey support in the new OS, which will strengthen the overall security of the device.
