Google’s Analysis Group (TAG) had detected this problem and the company has released a fix for it. Remote Code Execution (RCE) has been detected in the security flaw, due to which hackers can access the user’s device and cyber attack can be done.
Hackers will get access to the device
According to the analysis group, the code is linked to the Android platform Linux Kernel, due to which there is a risk of security risk for the device. Hackers can send links or apps containing viruses by modifying the network connection in the Android device.
Google’s analysis group is still investigating this zero-day problem in depth. During this time, two sets of security patches have been released for the users, which have been released on August 1 and August 5, 2024. This has been released as a regular update for Google Pixel users. At the same time, this update will be released for smartphones of other brands after a few days.

According to the TAG, users should immediately update their phones with the latest security patch. Pixel users have started getting this update. At the same time, this security patch can be available for smartphone users of other brands in the coming days. For this, users will have to go to the settings of their smartphone.
