The country’s leading vehicle factory Jabalpur (VFJ) in the armament sector and Pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (Triple ITDM), the topper in the field of information technology, design, are going to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MUA) taking a unique initiative.

Through this, the expert team of VFJ will make the students of Triple ITDM aware of technology along with their working style and similarly the Institute of Technology will share various types of research, technology with VFJ. In this way, this will be the first institute in the armament sector which is enriching itself through technology and taking steps towards preparing a completely new batch of modern vehicles for the Indian Army.
VFJ CGM and the in-charge of the Institute of Information Technology will sign the MoU. VFJ will benefit from this. VFJ, which makes Stallion trucks, medium-sized trucks and water bowsers that help the army to deliver supplies to the country’s borders, is now taking a step towards self-reliant India in the defense sector.
Will make small light vehicles like a completely indigenous jeep
American utility vehicle maker Polaris and Japanese utility vehicle Isuzu are going to modify them to make small light vehicles like a completely indigenous jeep. VFJ will make it bullet-proof. Both vehicles will be able to cross difficult and mountainous roads easily. Tipal ITDM will help VFJ in technology and design through MUA.
