Many new features in Google Pay, will be able to make UPI payment without bank account

Google has announced several new features of its UPI app in Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2024. Google Pay users will soon start getting these features in Android and iOS apps. Google said that by the end of the year these features will be added to Google Pay. Google has added several features to Google Pay (GPAY) in this fest in this fest in this fest including UPI Circle, UPI voucher or Erupi, Clickpay QR Scan, Prepaid Utility Payment, Tap and Pay With Rupay Card.

 

 

 

Recently, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched the UPI Circle Delegated payment system. It will get the facility to make UPI payment without bank account. What is UPI Circle?

UPI Circle is a delegated payment system, in which primary users with full delegation can add their trusted secondary users to the circle. If the secondary user does not have a bank account, then he will be able to make UPI payment using the primary user account. However, it has a spending limit for UPI transaction. For every delegation, you will get a limit of UPI transaction up to Rs 15 thousand and maximum Rs 5,000 in a month.

 

According to NPCI, primary users can authorize their secondary users’ payment requests in the Parseline delegation. Primary users will be able to complete the transaction of UPI payment by entering PIN. A primary user can add a maximum of 5 secondary users to UPI Circle. Also, any secondary user can accept the delegation of only one primary user. In UPI Circle, only primary user has a link to the bank account UPI. Only the primary user can authorize any secondary user

payment.
