Shortcut to reshare status
According to WABetaInfo’s report, this new feature of status resharing has been seen in WhatsApp’s Android beta version 2.24.1.6.4. This new feature of WhatsApp is currently in the development phase. With this feature, users will get a quick shortcut button to reshare the status in the app. While resharing the status, users can also get the option to update emoji and post.
At present, to reshare someone’s status on WhatsApp, one has to take a screenshot. After that the status has to be uploaded again. However, it is not possible to re-share anyone’s video or GIF status on WhatsApp. WhatsApp has now decided to overcome this big problem of the users. With the addition of this feature, users will get a direct option to re-share anyone’s status.
