Apple has launched the new iPhone 16 series in its Glowtime Event held yesterday. Apart from this, the company has also introduced Watch Series 10 and Watch Ultra 2 in the global market. In India, the new iPhone series can be purchased from the company’s official online and offline stores from September 20. In this event, Apple has also announced the release date of iOS 18 based on Apple Intelligence. The company said that from September 16, iOS 18 will be available in 27 iPhone models around the world. The new iOS 18 will get many new features including AI feature, which will improve the experience of iPhone users.
The company said that from September 16, iOS 18 will be available with free software update in all iPhones launched in 2017 and after. However, users will have to wait a bit to use Apple Intelligence. The company will roll out this AI feature with iOS 18.1. iOS 18 beta version is currently available, in which users can experience the features available in the company’s upcoming operating system. Its stable version will be released on September 16.

Users will also start getting Apple Intelligence through free software updates. This means that users will not have to spend separately to use Apple Intelligence. Apart from iPhone, iPad and Mac users will also get Apple Intelligence with the next update. However, talking about Apple Intelligence compatible devices, this AI feature will work only in iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apart from this, Apple Intelligence will be supported only in iPad and Mac with M1 chip or later.
