A major plane accident took place in Brazil on Friday. It was a regional turboprop plane, which crashed near Sao Paulo in Brazil. All 61 people on board the plane died. The plane falls down after spinning round and round
In the viral video, the plane is seen flying at a high altitude, then suddenly it starts falling straight down. The pilot completely loses control of the plane. Instead of moving forward, the plane comes down and spins round and falls in a residential area. There were 61 people on board the turboprop plane before it crashed. All the passengers died after the accident.
The flight took off at 1:30 pm
Regarding the incident, regional officials said that the plane leaving for Sao Paulo’s international airport took off from Cascavel in Parana state at around 1:30 pm. The plane crashed in the city of Vinhedo, about 80 km (50 miles) northwest of Sao Paulo.
A cloud of smoke rose as the plane fell
The video that went viral on social media shows that the ATR-72 plane went out of control. Fell behind a group of trees near houses. As soon as the plane fell down, a cloud of smoke rose and it caught fire.
Local people heard the loud sound of the plane crash
Daniel de Lima, a resident of the place where the accident took place, said that he had heard a loud sound before looking out the window. The video shows that the plane was moving round and round, but was not moving forward. Soon after this, the plane fell down from the sky and exploded.
