Billionaire and CEO of Tesla and X, Elon Musk interviewed former US President Donald Trump and spoke openly about the recent assassination attempt. Trump described the attack as a ‘hard blow’ and said that it was an unreal situation. During the interview, when the owner of X asked, “How was the shooting for you? So Trump replied that the shooting was not pleasant and it was a very hard blow. It was a strong blow”.

Trump said this about the attack

Trump said that when something hit the ear, I immediately understood that it was a bullet. Trump further said that the moment he was shot and fell down, the only question in his mind was “How many people were killed? Because we had a huge crowd there. So I said, ‘How many people have been killed? Because I knew that other bullets were also being fired’.

Musk endorses Trump amid ongoing controversies

Elon Musk, who had previously backed Democratic President Joe Biden, has thrown his support behind Trump. He has even launched a super PAC to support Trump’s campaign. Trump has changed his stance after Musk’s endorsement. The interview provided Trump with an opportunity to reach a wider audience beyond his traditional base.

Musk said he supported Trump’s presidential election because the enthusiasm Trump showed by clenching his fist during the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania last month was commendable. Trump had said that we will fight. We will not back down.

Let us tell you that Musk started the live stream conversation with Trump on X at 8:42 pm on Monday, as it was delayed due to technical glitches. Earlier the program was scheduled to start at 8 pm. Musk said that the delay in the conversation was due to a cyber attack. Musk blamed the delay on a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack, although this claim has not been confirmed. The talk, which started 40 minutes late, was watched live by more than one million people.
